OPERATIONS MANAGER (RALEIGH, NC)

CENTIAN ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT

Centian’s Administration department is comprised of several different areas that focus on the internal needs of Centian and its employees. Members of the Administration team ensure that the needs of our office and employees are maintained by

  • Keeping Centian in compliance with the requirements of local, state and federal employment laws
  • Managing business property which includes the physical office space of Centian and other tenants
  • Maintaining company records, insurance policies and financial accounts
  • Providing employees with the resources required to complete their responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION & BENEFITS

The Operations Manager has responsibilities in multiple administrative areas of Centian, including accounting, property management, time and leave, Human Resources, recruitment, office management, Information Technology and others. In an effort to fully understand all aspects of Centian departments, the Operations Manager will receive regular training in Sales, Quality Systems, and Supply Chain. The Operations Manager is an in-office position located in Raleigh, NC.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting aspects of accounting and the office accountant, and assisting in the processing of some accounting tasks such as the approval of vendor payments, tax payments, bank reconciliation and check issuance.
  • Overseeing all HR related responsibilities such as new hire processing, employee paperwork, employee complaints and grievances, employee professional development, employee evaluations, and all federal and state registrations.
  • Managing the general office space of Centian by liaising with business services and vendors, maintaining necessary office supplies to ensure all physical needs are met, and organizing and maintaining the digital records of the company.
  • Serving as the Property Manager for the Centian sister company “901 Paverstone LLC” by coordinating with tenants and processing payments, as well as coordinating with ongoing vendors such as office cleaners and all other necessary contractors.
  • Leading all recruitment efforts to maintain an effective employee base, including the creation of positions and responsibilities, posting job openings, attending career fairs, reviewing and interviewing candidates, and serving on all search committees.
  • Supervising the time and leave of all employees by tracking and deciding on all requests of Paid Time Off, leave without pay, employee traveling, flex hours and remote work.
  • Serving as the liaison with company attorneys, insurance agents and other necessary parties to ensure legal compliances, contracts and other proper protections are carried out and maintained.
  • Coordinating with third party IT agencies for all necessary interventions, as well as serving as initial support for staff by managing all digital applications and software, maintain the organization of the company’s cloud storage system and website.

SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER (RALEIGH, NC)

CENTIAN ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT

Centian’s Account Management department initiates the connection between Centian and its suppliers and customers. Our Account Managers develop these relationships in order to find what products can create the best opportunity for Centian to position itself with a strategic and robust inventory that will allow for efficient service and maximize profits. In addition to regular email and phone communication, Account Managers often travel to meet with suppliers and customers in order to strengthen our Centian's relationships and create new opportunities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Researching and understanding nutraceutical industry, products, and market trends.
  • Maintaining a case load upwards of 300 customer accounts.
  • Developing relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Understanding applicable tariffs and import processes.
  • Submitting and receiving quotes on products.
  • Regularly updating product, customer, and supplier information within an online database.
  • Traveling nationwide 1-2 times per month for customer/supplier interactions, and nutraceutical industry research.

SUPPLY CHAIN COORDINATOR (RALEIGH, NC)

CENTIAN OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

The Centian Supply Chain department is responsible for the movement of goods that Centian LLC sells, including but not limited to, any and all activities related to warehousing and transportation of goods.

Job Functions of the Supply Chain Department include…

  • Liaising with warehouses to notify, receive and release customer orders
  • Assist broker and couriers with the importation of raw materials from overseas vendors
  • Transporting supplier orders to customers or to Centian warehouses
  • Providing ETAs and customer order status updates to customers
  • Submission of supplier Purchase Orders
  • Release/process customer orders from office
  • Logistics regarding customer/supplier returns
  • Monitoring stock levels and alerting management of low inventory levels
  • Dealing with warehouse and trucking issues and filing claims
  • Filing of all documents that arise in the course of the day, keeping documentation filed in the correct areas and ensuring proper formatting
